Nathan Rafferty joins #TeamTarget

Fantastic teenage prospect Nathan Rafferty has now signed for Target, following an incredible start to the year on the PDC circuit.

The 18-year-old from Tyrone, Northern Ireland, first started playing at 10 and made it to the semi-finals of the World Youth Masters in 2015.

After two years learning the ropes on the Development Tour, 2018 has seen him make huge strides in his career, knocking out defending champion Peter Wright at the UK Open in Minehead, and following that up with his first Development Tour title last weekend in Wigan.

“The Natural” has set his sights on winning a Challenge Tour title as well this year, before hopefully claiming a Tour Card to compete on the senior circuit in 2019.

Nathan lists world number one Michael van Gerwen as his biggest inspiration in the sport, along with fellow Northern Irishman Daryl Gurney, but is already relishing the prospect of a first meeting with Target’s World Champion Rob Cross at some point in the near future.

We are delighted to welcome Nathan to #TeamTarget as part of our commitment to support some of the brightest young talents in the game.
